Salma Shabaik, MD, is a board-certified family physician at Rahma Health in Sacramento, California.

Dr. Shabaik completed her undergraduate studies at the University of California, Revelle College, in San Diego. She then earned her medical degree at the University of California San Diego School of Medicine. Dr. Shabaik completed a family medicine internship and residency at Long Beach Memorial Medical Center in Long Beach, California.

Before joining the team at Rahma Health, Dr. Shabaik gained valuable experience as a gynecology co-chief, family physician, medical director, and clinical assistant professor. She has extensive volunteer experience, including working as a women’s health physician at a children’s hospital, serving as a volunteer attending physician, and performing research with a professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA.

Dr. Shabaik is a member of the American Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and the California Academy of Family Physicians.

To better communicate with the diverse community in Sacramento, Dr. Shabaik speaks English, Arabic, medical Spanish, and American Sign Language. She is accepting new patients of all ages.
