Zahid Iqbal, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician at Rahma Health in Sacramento, California. He is dedicated to providing personalized and comprehensive care.

Dr. Iqbal earned his medical degree at the University of California, Los Angeles, David Geffen School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of California, Davis, in Sacramento.

Before co-founding Rahma Health, Dr. Iqbal gained valuable experience managing the Shifa Community Clinic in Sacramento, serving as a physician in urgent care and skilled nursing facilities, working as a hospitalist in internal medicine and oncology, and providing primary care services.

Dr. Iqbal also has extensive volunteer experience, including serving as the clinic chief at a homeless clinic, a community center project coordinator, and his current volunteer role as a clinical preceptor at the University of California, Davis Student Run Free Clinics in Sacramento.

To better communicate with the diverse community in Sacramento, Dr. Iqbal speaks English, Hindi, Punjabi, and Urdu. He is accepting new patients.
